Whiskey & Cigar Rooms
Bonita Springs & Naples.
Naples has the collections — the bourbon shelves, the humidors, the bottles that deserve better than a kitchen cabinet — and the whiskey and cigar room gives them an address. We build them in dens, spare bedrooms, and bonus rooms from The Brooks and Bonita Bay to Grey Oaks and Port Royal: rich millwork, lit bottle displays, humidor cabinetry, leather-and-lowlight seating, and the piece that makes the room legitimate rather than aspirational — real, dedicated ventilation.
Ventilation is where every DIY cigar room dies in Florida. Smoke management in a sealed, air-conditioned house means engineered supply and exhaust with negative pressure at the door, sized so the room clears without perfuming the hallway — ductwork, make-up air, and controls our licensed trades design in from the start, permitted where required. Humidity control matters twice here: for the cigars in the humidor and for the millwork in the room. Built right, the lounge stays a sanctuary; built wrong, the whole house knows about it by the second pour.
Den or Office
to Whiskey Room.
The whiskey room conversion takes the den you barely use — or the office that retired when you did — and builds the room every clubhouse wishes it had: leather, low light, a wall of bottles worth discussing, and if you smoke, a cigar lounge engineered so the rest of the house never knows.
The whiskey side is a millwork project our carpenters relish: display shelving with integrated lighting that makes amber glow, closed storage for the open bottles, a tasting counter in stone, and the moody palette — dark stains, rich paint, brass or matte black — that separates a whiskey room from a shelf with bottles on it. Backlit Designer Stone Panels behind the display, a Cutting Edge Florida exclusive, turn the collection wall into the feature guests photograph.
Add cigars and the project becomes climate engineering, which is where most contractors bow out and we begin. A true cigar room runs dedicated ventilation with negative air pressure — smoke exits through its own path and never visits the hallway — plus sealed doors, finishes chosen to shrug off smoke, and a built-in humidor cabinet holding the strict humidity a collection demands. Done right, you smoke in comfort and the room resets by morning; done wrong, the whole house pays for years. We only do it right.
The Room That
Ends the Evening.
Every memorable dinner party has a second act, and the whiskey room is where it happens. The table clears, the group thins to the conversation that matters, and the evening ends in the room built for exactly that — a pour, a chair that means it, and no televisions arguing for attention. In a market that entertains as much as Bonita Springs and Naples, the whiskey room becomes the signature move: everyone has a lanai; almost no one has this.
For the collector, the room is overdue justice. Bottles accumulated over decades finally display like the investments they’ve quietly become, in conditioned space that treats them properly — and a collection you can see is a collection you actually share, which is the entire point of the good stuff. Cigar smokers get the deeper luxury: smoking at home, in comfort, without negotiation, exile to the garage, or a guest bathroom that tattles for a week.
On resale, the whiskey room sells the way all character rooms sell — as proof the home was built for a life, not a listing. The underlying assets are custom millwork, stone, lighting design, and serious ventilation, all of which read as quality to any buyer even if their collection is wine or nothing at all; the room converts back to a den or office in a weekend if a future owner wants it to. Meanwhile it gives your listing the photograph no comp in the neighborhood can match.
The den did nothing for years. Let it pour you something instead.
A Private Retreat Built
for the Ritual.
A cigar and whiskey room in Bonita Springs is one of the most personally distinctive specialty rooms available — a space designed entirely for a specific ritual that is valued as much for its atmosphere as its function. Dark millwork, leather seating, whiskey display lit from behind, walk-in humidor storage, and a ventilation system that makes smoking indoors viable without affecting the rest of the home. These rooms are built for the owner’s enjoyment and become the most memorable room in the home for guests.
The technical requirements of a cigar room are significant. A dedicated negative-pressure ventilation system drawing air out of the room and exhausting it to the exterior is required to keep smoke contained. The humidor portion of the room requires climate control maintaining 65–70°F at 65–70% relative humidity year-round — a separate requirement from the main room conditioning. Florida’s ambient humidity helps with humidor conditions but requires careful management to prevent over-humidification. We handle every technical element under one Florida GC license and one fixed-price contract.
Every cigar room project starts with a free LiDAR scan and a photo-realistic 3D render showing the finished room — humidor wall, whiskey display, seating layout, and lighting scenes in exact detail. You approve it. We build it exactly as shown.

What a Cigar & Whiskey Room Returns
in Bonita Springs FL
A cigar and whiskey room is a niche specialty room that serves a specific buyer demographic — but in Bonita Springs’ luxury communities, that demographic is well-represented. Among high-net-worth buyers who smoke cigars or collect whiskey, a dedicated room for the hobby is immediately recognized and valued. For the broader buyer market, it reads as an extraordinary amenity that signals the level of investment throughout the home.

FAQ
Millwork, Air & Light —
One Team Builds All Three.
A whiskey room succeeds on three systems working together: carpentry, air, and lighting. Ours are built by one in-house team — humidor and display cabinetry from the same carpenters behind our custom kitchens, exhaust and make-up air engineered and installed by licensed trades with the permit closed, and lighting circuits that take the room from reading to ritual on one scene. No glued-on wine racks, no window fan, no mystery smells in the guest wing.
Before demolition you will have chosen the wood species and finish in our Bonita Springs showroom — including backlit Designer Stone Panels, our Florida-exclusive onyx feature, as a bottle-wall backdrop — seen the finished lounge in a photo-real render from a LiDAR scan of your room, and signed one fixed price. The standard of 500-plus Southwest Florida projects, applied to the most personal room in the house.
