Lippage between large-format tiles, grout lines that wander, a shower pan that was never waterproofed correctly — tile mistakes are baked in the moment the thinset cures. We set tile the way the Tile Council of North America says to: correct trowel and coverage for the tile size, leveling systems on large format, movement joints where required, and full waterproofing membranes in wet areas. It costs a little more attention up front and saves the re-do entirely.

Layout First. Then Thinset.

1 — Quote & selection. Measure, discuss tile choice and pattern, and lock a fixed quote. Bring your own tile or source through our showroom relationships.

2 — Substrate prep. Flatten, clean, and prime; waterproof membranes installed and flood-tested in wet areas before any tile is set.

3 — Layout & set. Dry layout to center patterns and eliminate slivers, then set with the correct trowel, coverage, and leveling system for the tile.

4 — Grout, seal & detail. Grout worked clean, caulk at every change of plane, natural stone sealed, haze removed, done.
