Azure rises 26 stories at 4931 Bonita Bay Boulevard and was completed in 2006. The building holds 77 residences: 69 in the tower and eight carriage homes at its base. Most tower units are three-bedroom plans of roughly 3,400 to 4,000 square feet with three or four baths, marble floors and views over the Gulf and the golf course. Recent sales have landed between about $1.9 million and $2.3 million, with listings reaching $2.6 million. Twenty years on, many Azure kitchens and baths still have original finishes. ## Azure Bathroom Remodel

A 2006 Azure bathroom usually means cream marble, a jetted tub on a platform, a separate shower with a framed door, and cabinetry in a warm cherry or maple stain. Primary bath remodels here tend to drop the tub in favor of a large walk-in shower, or keep a freestanding soaker if the room is wide enough. Owners choose cooler stone or large porcelain slabs, wall-hung or floating vanities, frameless glass and brushed nickel or polished nickel fixtures. Secondary baths are updated to match so the residence feels consistent from room to room.

Marble floors run through many Azure residences, which raises a planning question: does new bathroom tile meet the existing marble at the doorway cleanly, or does the hall need attention too? ## Azure Kitchen Remodel

Kitchens delivered in 2006 tend to show their age first: raised-panel cabinetry, speckled granite, tile backsplashes with decorative inserts and appliances now near the end of their life. Azure owners usually keep the kitchen in its current footprint, since water and drain lines in a high-rise are hard to move, and focus on everything visible. Flat or shaker-style doors in painted or wood finishes, a quartzite or marble island top, a full-height slab backsplash and a panel-ready refrigerator change the room completely. Hardware and faucets in brushed brass or nickel finish the look.

Lighting and storage get rethought at the same time. Recessed cans can be repositioned within the ceiling, under-cabinet LED tape replaces old puck lights, and drawer stacks replace deep base cabinets that were hard to reach.
