Wedgewood is one of the neighborhoods listed within Bonita Bay, the Bonita Springs community bordered by the Imperial River, Spring Creek and Estero Bay. For most Wedgewood owners planning a remodel, the layout is not the hard part. Choosing materials is. Quartz or quartzite, porcelain or marble, brushed or polished, painted or stained: each choice affects how the room looks, how it ages and how much care it needs. This page walks through the material decisions for a Wedgewood bathroom and kitchen, and how we help you make them with confidence.

## Wedgewood Bathroom Remodel

Tile sets the tone of a bathroom. Large-format porcelain in a marble look gives the appearance of stone with almost no maintenance, while real marble offers depth and variation but needs sealing and gentler cleaners. Wedgewood owners often split the difference: porcelain on the floor and shower walls, real stone on the vanity top or a single feature wall. Zellige or handmade tile adds texture in smaller amounts, such as a niche or backsplash. Grout color matters more than many owners expect. A matching grout makes the tile read as one surface, while a contrasting grout emphasizes the pattern. We show both on sample boards.

Fixture finish is the next decision. Polished nickel and chrome are easy to clean; brushed and matte finishes hide water spots; unlacquered brass develops a patina some love and others do not. Mixing two finishes can work if it is planned. In our Bonita Springs showroom, you can hold samples next to each other, and we place your choices into a photo-real 3D render of your own bathroom, built from the free LiDAR scan, before anything is ordered.

Bathroom remodels at Wedgewood start from $31,000 per bath.

## Wedgewood Kitchen Remodel

Countertops are the biggest material choice in a Wedgewood kitchen. Quartz is engineered, consistent and stain resistant. Quartzite is natural stone, harder than granite, with movement no factory can copy, but it varies slab to slab and needs sealing. Marble is beautiful and etches with acid. Porcelain slabs are thin, heat resistant and good for backsplashes and outdoor use. We show all four in the showroom and talk through how each one fits the way you cook. Edge profile matters too. A thin eased edge looks modern, a mitered edge makes a slab look thicker, and an ogee suits a traditional room.

Cabinet finishes come next: painted, stained, wood veneer or high-gloss lacquer, with door styles from shaker to flat slab. In strong Florida light, warm whites and natural woods hold up well, while dark finishes show dust. Hardware, sink material and faucet finish complete the palette. Once selections are made, we render the whole kitchen from your scan so you can see the combination in place, then template stone and build cabinets to those exact measurements. Final samples are kept for future repairs.

Kitchen remodels at Wedgewood start from $62,000.
