The Pointe at Pelican Landing is a condominium neighborhood on Pointe Creek Court, with three-story elevator buildings that date to around 2001. A typical unit is a three-bedroom, two-bath split plan of about 1,360 square feet with a screened lanai, an owner's suite with two walk-in closets and a detached one-car garage. A recent sale closed at $307,500. Exteriors were repainted in 2025, but many interiors still carry the original kitchens and baths. Below is how owners at The Pointe update both rooms, and how to price the work. Pricing tools follow.

## The Pointe Bathroom Remodel

The split plan at The Pointe puts the owner's bath on one side of the unit and the guest bath on the other, which makes it practical to remodel one while the other stays in use. In the owner's suite, the usual change is replacing a tub or tub-shower with a walk-in shower, adding a comfort-height vanity with a quartz top, and tiling the shower walls to the ceiling. The guest bath often keeps its tub, updated with new tile, a glass panel and a new vanity. A comfort-height toilet and a handheld shower spray are small additions that make the owner's bath easier to use for years. Because units at The Pointe are often furnished and rented, owners also ask for finishes that hold up to turnover.

As second- and third-floor units sit above other owners, the condo association reviews the scope and usually requires sound-dampening underlayment under new tile. Water shutoffs for the stack are coordinated with building management, and the elevator is padded for material deliveries. We keep drains where they are unless the building approves otherwise, which keeps the project shorter. The free LiDAR scan records the existing layout so the design is built around fixed plumbing from the start.

Bathroom remodels at The Pointe start from $12,000 per bath.

## The Pointe Kitchen Remodel

Kitchens at The Pointe open toward the living area in an open-concept plan, which means new cabinets and counters are on display from the lanai doors. Owners typically choose white or warm-wood shaker cabinets, a light quartz top and a tile backsplash that runs to the bottom of the uppers. Adding cabinets above the refrigerator and a pull-out pantry beside the range solves the storage problems these units were built with. Where the kitchen meets the living area, a counter-height overhang with two stools gives a place to eat without a separate table. In a furnished unit, durable quartz and easy-clean cabinet fronts make seasonal turnover simpler for owners and rental managers alike.

Lighting is the change owners notice most afterward. Replacing a single fluorescent box with recessed fixtures and under-cabinet LEDs makes the room usable at night. Appliances are matched to existing openings so the cabinetry stays efficient, and the sink stays on its current wall to avoid moving shared drains. The photo-real render lets you compare two or three finish palettes before deciding. Deliveries go through the elevator during the association's permitted hours, and work stays inside the unit.

Kitchen remodels at The Pointe start from $18,000.
