Mirasol is a five-story condominium building on the beach at Miromar Lakes, completed in 2006 with views of the Beach Club and Lake Como. Residences have two or three bedrooms in roughly 1,400 to 2,400 square feet, each with a private balcony and assigned parking, and boat slips are available to owners. Recent sales have run from about $480,000 to $1.175 million, with current two-bedroom listings in the low $600,000s. ## Mirasol Bathroom Remodel

Mirasol residences usually have two or three baths, and the original primary bath often pairs a tub with a separate shower, or a tub-shower combination in smaller plans. Owners renovating here generally keep the plumbing locations and change everything else: a walk-in shower with frameless glass replacing the tub, a new vanity with quartz or porcelain slab, wall-mounted faucets, a larger mirror with integrated lighting and porcelain tile in a soft, sand-toned palette that fits the beach outside. Guest baths get a matching but simpler treatment, often with a glass door in place of a curtain.

A five-story building has rules a coach home does not. The Mirasol condominium association will want drawings, insurance, a schedule and a plan for the shared elevator and corridors, and most buildings limit noisy work to set hours. Drains connect to shared stacks inside the concrete structure, so relocating a toilet or shower is limited and may require engineering review. Kitchens in Mirasol open to a living and dining area that faces the balcony and the lake. Original finishes are typically stained wood cabinets, granite and a tile backsplash, sometimes with a soffit over the uppers.
