## What Does a Laundry Room Remodel Include?
Most laundry rooms start as a builder-grade box: wire shelf, bare walls and appliances on the floor. A typical remodel adds upper and lower cabinets to the ceiling, a quartz or solid-surface counter over front-loaders for folding, a hanging rod or drying cabinet and better lighting. The next level adds a deep utility sink with a faucet, which needs a drain and supply lines, plus tile or luxury vinyl flooring and a tile backsplash.

Bigger changes cost more because they involve trades. Moving the washer means new supply and drain lines, often through the slab. Moving the dryer means rerouting the vent to an exterior wall with the shortest practical run. Stacking appliances frees space but needs the right electrical and vent location. Adding a pet washing station, built-in ironing board or appliance pedestals with drawers increases the cabinet scope. Custom cabinetry costs more than stock, and stone tops more than laminate.
