Custom Closets & Dressing Rooms
Bonita Springs & Naples.
Southwest Florida wardrobes are double wardrobes — a season of linen and golf, a season for travel north, gala pieces, boat clothes — and the builder closet was never sized for any of it. From Pelican Bay and Pelican Landing to Grey Oaks and Quail West, we build custom closets and full bedroom-to-dressing-room conversions that give the collection a proper address: floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, dressing islands, lit rails, and shoe walls counted to what you actually own.
Florida adds two quiet requirements. Humidity is the enemy of leather, silk, and cedar alike, so our closets are detailed for airflow and stable finishes rather than sealed like storage units; and salt-air homes near Bonita Beach and Fort Myers Beach get hardware specified to survive it. Closets also hide the most common resale trap in the county — a converted bedroom that lost its bedroom status on paper. Ours convert with cabinetry rather than walls, so the room dresses like a boutique and appraises like a bedroom.
From Wire Shelves
To a Dressing Room.
Every Bonita Springs home came with the same closet: one wire shelf, one rod, and a light fixture from the last century. Meanwhile the wardrobe grew — and half of it lives in the guest room. A custom closet remodel fixes both problems at once, and it comes in two sizes: rebuild the closet you have with floor-to-ceiling custom cabinetry, or convert a spare bedroom into a walk-in dressing room the primary suite was always missing.
The bedroom-to-closet conversion is the one that changes how the suite lives. A 11×12 spare room holds double hanging on two walls, a full shoe and handbag display, a center island with velvet-lined drawers, and a bench under a window that suddenly has a reason to exist. We handle the doorway relocation, flooring, lighting circuits, and every inch of cabinetry — drawn to your actual wardrobe count, not a catalog template.
Because the cabinetry comes from the same warehouse and carpenters behind our kitchens, closets get kitchen-grade construction: plywood boxes, soft-close hardware, and finished interiors — not the melamine kit systems that sag by year three.
Ten Minutes Back
Every Morning.
The daily payoff is speed and calm: everything visible, everything reachable, nothing ironed twice because it was crushed on a wire shelf. Lit rails and glass-front cases turn a wardrobe into a display; the island keeps jewelry, watches, and folded pieces in shallow drawers where they can actually be found. It is the most personal room in the house — and the one guests never see, which is exactly why it feels like a private luxury.
The resale story is stronger than most owners expect. In the communities we serve, buyers walk the primary suite first — and a true walk-in dressing room reads as a custom home, not a tract home. A converted spare bedroom stays a bedroom on paper (the closet systems are cabinetry, not walls), so the home keeps its bedroom count while living like it has a suite addition. It is one of the few remodels that adds daily function and shows beautifully at listing time.

Custom Closet
FAQs.
How much does a custom closet remodel cost in Bonita Springs?
Rebuilding an existing walk-in with full custom cabinetry typically runs in the low-to-mid five figures depending on size and finishes; a full bedroom-to-dressing-room conversion runs higher with doorway, flooring, and electrical work included. Every project gets a fixed-price quote after a free LiDAR scan — the number we quote is the number you pay.
Can you convert a spare bedroom into a closet without losing the bedroom?
Yes — this is the most requested version. The systems are cabinetry rather than structural walls, so the room remains a legal bedroom and the home keeps its bedroom count at resale while living as a dressing room.
How long does it take?
A closet rebuild typically runs about a week on site after cabinetry arrives; a bedroom conversion runs two to three weeks including flooring and electrical. Cabinet fabrication lead time is confirmed at quote.
Is this the same cabinetry as your kitchens?
Same warehouse, same carpenters, same plywood-box construction and soft-close hardware — finished interiors included. You can see door styles and finishes in our Bonita Springs showroom before anything is ordered.
Kitchen-Grade Cabinetry —
Not a Kit System.
The closet industry sells melamine kits on wall rails; we build furniture. Plywood-box construction from our own warehouse, soft-close doors and drawers, velvet-lined inserts, finished interiors, and islands topped with real templated stone — installed by the same carpenters behind our custom kitchens. Lighting circuits for rails, cases, and mirrors run in-wall by licensed electricians, and any doorway or flooring work in a bedroom conversion is permitted and closed properly.
Before demolition you will have chosen door styles, finishes, and stone in our Bonita Springs showroom, seen your finished dressing room in a photo-real render built from a LiDAR scan of the actual space — hanging lengths and shoe rows counted to your wardrobe — and signed one fixed price covering every trade. The standard of 500-plus Southwest Florida projects, applied to the first room you see every morning.
