Between summer thunderstorms, September heat, and evenings that start after golf, Southwest Florida homes do more indoor entertaining than almost anywhere — and the dedicated theater is the room that anchors it. We design and build true theaters, not TVs in dark rooms: 4K laser projection, Dolby Atmos ceilings, acoustic wall treatment, tiered seating, and lighting scenes, in bonus rooms and spare bedrooms from Bonita National and Palmira to Quail West and Mediterra.

Florida construction adds its own acoustics problem: tile floors, stucco block walls, and high ceilings are exactly the surfaces sound engineers dread. A theater that performs here is engineered — wall treatment and bass management tuned to hard-surface construction, HVAC quieted so the air handler is not a character in every film, dedicated circuits so the projector never shares power with a pool pump, and light control that beats a west-facing Florida window at six in the evening. That is the difference between a media corner and a room people drive across the community to watch the game in.

Bonus Room
to Cinema.

The home theater conversion claims the room the floor plan never figured out — the windowless bonus room, the oversized loft, the bedroom at the quiet end of the hall. Ironically, the “flaws” that made those rooms awkward — few windows, separation from the living core — are exactly what cinema wants. The conversion turns the house’s leftover into its best seat.

The build is a systems project wearing beautiful finishes. Light control comes first: sealed openings, blackout treatments, and dark, non-reflective surfaces so a 4K laser projector delivers the contrast it was engineered for. Acoustics come second and matter more than most owners expect — wall treatment, bass management, and isolation so Dolby Atmos surrounds the seats instead of the whole household. Then the infrastructure our crews run before the drywall closes: dedicated circuits, conduit for whatever cable standard comes next, equipment ventilation, and network drops that keep streaming flawless. Risers set the seating tiers; columns and panels hide the speakers; scene lighting handles arrivals, showtime, and intermission at a touch.

The finish level is yours to set — from a superb media-forward theater to full custom with fabric-wrapped walls, starfield ceiling, and a marquee with the family name on it. Either way, it’s rendered before demo and priced fixed before the first cable pulls.

To Screen.

A theater build crosses more trades than any room its size — framing, electrical, low-voltage, HVAC, drywall, carpentry, paint — and the usual result is an AV installer and a contractor blaming each other. We run every trade in-house on one schedule: risers framed and carpeted by our carpenters, dedicated circuits and conduit runs by our licensed electricians, acoustic treatment integrated into the wall design rather than glued on after, and the permit pulled and closed properly.

Before demolition you will have seen your finished theater — screen size, riser depth, seat count, lighting scenes — in a photo-real render built from a LiDAR scan of your actual room, and locked it at one fixed price covering everything. That is the standard on 500-plus Southwest Florida projects, and it is why our theaters get used nightly instead of shown off once.
